Outwood Academy Valley in Worksop is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers with tailored learning activities and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.

You will assist with monitoring progress, feedback, and developing plans for students with special educational needs (SEND) or English as an additional language (EAL). Training will be provided where needed.

Qualificações

• Experience in a school or working with children or young people.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexibly.
• Proficiency with standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to undertake necessary training for student support.
• Experience with SEND and/or challenging behaviours is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support teachers with planned learning activities for individuals and groups.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist students with SEND/EAL and develop individual plans (e.g., One Page Profiles, EHCPs).
• Support social/emotional well‑being; assist with eating, dressing, hygiene when needed.
• Provide cover and assistance in intervention settings and escort on visits.
• Invigilate formal examinations as required.
