Your Role Will Involve:

• Delivering personalised lessons and activities in line with EHCP targets

• Creating a safe, encouraging space where the child feels secure and supported

• Using positive behaviour strategies to help with emotional regulation

• Liaising with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to ensure joined-up support

• Providing both academic guidance and emotional encouragement throughout the day

What We re Looking For:

• Level 3 or 4 Learning Support qualification (or equivalent)

• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally on a 1:1 basis in a primary setting

• A patient, compassionate nature with strong emotional awareness

• Ability to adapt learning approaches to individual needs

• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Two references from recent educational settings
