Are you a SEND specialist Teaching Assistant looking for your next career step within a fantastic school based in the north Wirral area?

Are you looking to make a switch from the care sector into Education?

Have you recently graduated and are looking to kick start your career in education?

Prospero Teaching is working with a welcoming school in Wirral who are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant. The role involves working 1:1 with a KS2 pupil.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS:

  • Location – Wirral
  • Position – SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Hours – 8:30 – 15:15

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience of working with children.
  • Previous experience supporting people with additional needs.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential, as Safeguarding training is provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references.
