Five Education Recruitment Limited is hiring a Teaching Assistant (SEND) based in Yeovil, Somerset, South West, UK. This is a temporary role with a daily rate of £92–£100.

The successful candidate will support identified pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN) and/or mental health challenges, providing 1:1 or small group assistance in a special school setting. Previous experience in supporting individuals with SEND such as Autism and an ability to manage challenging behaviour is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, e.g., Autism.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
• Experience supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support identified pupils with SEN in 1:1 or small groups.
• Assist with behaviour management and student safety.
