Job summary

We Manage Jobs is seeking a Teaching Assistant for Springdale Primary School's SEN Resource Base for Speech, Language and Communication in Wolverhampton. The role supports pupils’ learning and personal development, acting as a positive role model and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will join a well-established resource base with strong practice ethos, contributing to inclusive education and personal development across pupils with diverse needs.

Job description

33.50 hours per week. Required to start as soon as possible.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our successful team as a Teaching Assistant in our SEN Resource Base for Speech, Language and Communication, supporting our pupils with their learning and personal development. The successful individual will act as a positive role model; developing pupils’ skills and helping them overcome barriers to learning. Our resource base is well established and is recognised as a beacon of good practice within the city and across other authorities.

Springdale is a successful and vibrant school situated on the pleasant west boundary of Wolverhampton. Inclusion is at the heart of what we do, and we are proud to have a Learning Resource Base for Speech and Language, there are 34 places within the base.
