Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant

If you answered yes, keep reading! This is a fabulous opportunity to join an established SEN setting and enhance the educational experience of local children. This position is required on a long-term, temporary basis, 40 hours a week, term-time only. The school is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants with personal or professional SEN experience.

You will work in small classes, either on a 1:1 basis with a student or by running small group sessions. The school features beautiful grounds with open space for play, relaxation, or outdoor learning. Classrooms are bright and airy, equipped with modern technology to support learners. The dedicated Teaching and Senior Leadership teams are always available for support, along with specialists across the school. The students have diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Right to work in the UK
2. GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
3. Resilience, empathy, and a drive to help others
4. Driving license (desirable)
5. DBS on the update service (desirable)
