We have several vacancies for Teaching Assistants to support students with physical and neurological impairments.
Our School is a community special school for students aged 3-19 with physical, neurological, and learning difficulties. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to join our team, starting on 2 September 2024. Experience in a special needs setting or as a Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting students with physical and/or neurological disabilities, including those with mobility challenges or learning difficulties, and providing assistance with personal care.
The school has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding across all areas.
We seek a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work closely with class teachers to support students' learning in accordance with the national curriculum, codes of practice, and school policies.
This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must pass all background checks, including an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
