This is a fabulous opportunity to join an established SEN setting and make a difference to the educational experience of local children. This position is required on a permanent basis, 40hrs a week, term time only. The school are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants with either personal or professional SEN experience.

You will be working in small classes, either on a 1:1 basis with a student, or running small group sessions. The school is set in beautiful grounds, with plenty of open space for play, relaxation or outdoor learning. Classrooms are bright and airy with modern equipment and the latest technology to support the learners. The established Teaching and Senior Leadership team are always on hand to support, as well as the team of specialists across the school. The students have a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

Responsibilities
  • Support learners with diverse needs in small class settings, including 1:1 and small group sessions.
  • Contribute to creating supportive and inclusive learning environments.
  • Collaborate with the teaching and senior leadership team and school specialists to support learners.
  • Assist in activities and learning that reflect the needs of pupils with autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
