Job description

A well-respected all-through special needs school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 support to students with either ASD or SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide individualized support to students with ASD or SEMH needs.
2. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective support strategies.
3. Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
4. Work with students aged 5-16, studying at Key Stage One or Two levels.

Requirements:

1. At least 6 months of experience working in a similar position in a school setting or as a youth worker.
2. Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
3. Availability to work full-time, starting in September.
