About us: Axcis Education is recruiting for a specialised SEMH school dedicated to providing a supportive environment for students facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. We aim to help students reach their potential and succeed academically.

Position Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students with SEMH needs in their educational and personal development, working closely with staff, parents, and professionals to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in young people's lives.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist in planning and delivering lessons and activities
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Support social and emotional skills development
  • Monitor and manage challenging behaviours constructively
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals on support plans
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour
