Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with SEMH and additional needs in specialist schools and alternative provisions across North Liverpool.

This role offers full-time, long-term and day-to-day opportunities with immediate and upcoming starts. Hands-on experience is valued, and a calm, resilient, consistent approach is essential for supporting pupils who may find school challenging.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH and additional needs?

We are currently recruiting experienced TAs for a number of specialist schools and alternative provisions across North Liverpool, with both short- and long-term opportunities available.

We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience supporting pupils with:

• SEMH and behavioural needs
• Challenging or dysregulated behaviour
• Autism and ADHD
• Emotional and social difficulties
• De-escalation and behaviour management
• 1:1 and small-group support
• Working within specialist or alternative provision settings

You don't necessarily need a formal qualification - relevant hands-on experience is what matters.
