SEN Teaching Assistant - Rainham & Surrounding Areas - Immediate Start - Full-time

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and fulfilling opportunity? Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a reputable secondary school in Rainham and the surrounding areas. This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate of 90 - 105 (depending on experience) and is available for an immediate start.



SEN Teaching Assistant in Rainham & Surrounding Areas

In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team at a local school. As a motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide both in-class and out-of-class support, offering 1:1 assistance to students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Delivering targeted support to individual students

  • Collaborating with teachers to tailor learning strategies

  • Leading small group sessions for students with similar needs



Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Strong understanding of a range of SEN needs

  • Solid experience working with students with special educational needs

  • Immediate availability to start

  • Holds an enhanced DBS or willing to undergo the process

  • Available Monday to Friday on a full-time basis
