Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Manchester, Oldham, Trafford, Bolton, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, and Bury

Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time/Temporary/Fixed-Term

Salary: Competitive (Depending on Experience)

Start Date: ASAP or May and September

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students, ensuring each child receives the individual attention and assistance they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
  2. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
  3. Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  4. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
  5. Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing resources and recording student progress.
  6. Supervise students during breaks, lunch, and other activities.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or relevant experience.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Experience working in a classroom, educational setting, or with children in a residential care or support role.
  2. Knowledge of supporting students with SEN.
  3. First Aid or other relevant training certifications.
