Job description

Are you a friendly and nurturing Teaching Assistant?Do you have experience supporting PE sessions across key stage 1/2?Then, this could be the opportunity for you!...We have a unique opportunity for a confident and engaging Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming Primary Schools based in Leeds.The part-time role will provide ongoing learning support and intervention for pupils across the PE curriculum, under the guidance of the Teaching staff. You will be confident coaching pupils in a wide range of sports/physical activities in line with the National Curriculum.Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, as well as a strong knowledge of the PE curriculum.The Primary School are committed to proving high standards of learning for all pupils, celebrating achievements no matter how small. You will work in partnership with the existing staff team to ensure positive progression across the PE curriculum for pupils from KS1 to KS2.You must ensure active participation in sports sessions and motivate students through inclusive practice.You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role dependent on experience.We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with:
  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience delivering sports coaching or PE session is desirable.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
  • A motivated, creative and inclusive approach
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK PE Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
