Job summary

Suffield Park Infant and Nursery School in Norfolk invites an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join from September 2026. The role blends classroom support with leading PE activities across the school, promoting health and active lunchtimes for all year groups.

Hours are 9.00am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday, 29 hours per week, term time plus 5 days. We value a calm, patient, collaborative team player with a passion for helping children learn and stay active, alongside a commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or nursery setting.
• A calm, patient, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for PE, fitness, and keeping children healthy.

Responsibilities

• Flexible Learning Support: assist the class teacher by leading groups and 1-1 support.
• PE Delivery & Active Play: lead high-quality PE lessons and active lunchtimes.
• SEND & Inclusion: help children with SEND access the curriculum in class and PE.
• Wellbeing & Safeguarding: promote safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
• Classroom Support: assist with admin and general organisation.
