Temporary – One Term

At Hinchley Wood Primary School, we are developing our provision and have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join us as part of a pilot project for the Autumn 2025 term.

The successful candidate will work with an HLTA, supporting the delivery of bespoke play-based, practical, or catch-up sessions for small groups of children, helping to support both academic progress and build confidence in a nurturing environment.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual who demonstrates high expectations, with a flexible attitude and a commitment to creating engaging learning opportunities that support the development of the whole child. SEND experience along with initiative, and a strong ability to connect with children are essential. Please refer to JD for the full person specification and role requirements.

At HWPS, our children are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have a love of learning. This was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection (March 2024), which also praised our approach to staff development and SEND support.

“Workload and well-being are carefully considered. Training opportunities, in school and across the trust, ensure that staff expertise is routinely developed.”

This is a great time to join our school and our growing Trust as we shape a new era of development and growth so that all children can reach their full potential.
