Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 in schools located in the Shepton Mallet area. This is a long-term opportunity starting immediately, ideal for individuals passionate about education and looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Your new role
You'll be working alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning, provide one-to-one or small group interventions, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities may include: *General classroom support
*SEN support and behaviour management
*Literacy and numeracy interventions
*Playground and lunchtime supervision
What you'll need to succeed
*Experience working with children in an educational setting *A proactive and supportive approach to learning
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
