Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded SEMH school in Woodeaton, Oxford, to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This nurturing and inclusive school supports 84 pupils across Key Stages 2 to 5, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and present with complex emotional and social challenges.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to provide emotional, social and academic support. You’ll help create a safe, engaging learning environment where pupils can grow in confidence and thrive.

• Individuals with a background or interest in SEMH, SEN, youth work, or mental health.
• Someone who is calm, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children with complex needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
