Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Working Pattern: Full-time and part-time available

Here at Hays, we are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stages 2 and 3 in schools located in Bath. This role is a maternity cover position starting in September 2025, with flexible working options available to suit your schedule.

Your new role

You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support to pupils, helping them thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities may include:

  • General classroom support
  • SEN support (1:1 or small groups)
  • Behaviour support
  • KS2 and KS3 assistance

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with children in educational or similar settings
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
