Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children's learning in mainstream primary schools across the region. Daily supply and long-term roles available, offering flexibility to fit your schedule and career goals.

You will assist pupils inside and outside the classroom, aiding learning, behaviour, and activity preparation. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process, with ongoing consultant support to help you progress your career in education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is beneficial.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Assisting children with varying learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
• Helping to prepare classroom resources and learning activities
• Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have a genuine passion for working with children
• Are positive, patient and proactive
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Can adapt confidently to different school environments
• Previous experience working within a school is desirable but not essential
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one through Protocol Education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
