Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS to KS2 in welcoming mainstream primary schools. We offer flexible daily supply and long-term opportunities, with competitive pay and ongoing CPD.

You will work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment and support diverse needs. Ideal candidates are passionate about education, patient, proactive, and have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Assisting children with varying learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
• Helping to prepare classroom resources and learning activities
• Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have a genuine passion for working with children
• Are positive, patient and proactive
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Can adapt confidently to different school environments
• Previous experience working within a school is desirable but not essential
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one through Protocol Education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
