A superb primary school in Trafford are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their KS1 team and support students within a year 1 classroom. This role will be helping students in smaller groups and on a 1 to 1 basis when needs arise.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering the national curriculum to the class
  • Providing tutoring to smaller groups of pupils
  • Support students 1 to 1
  • Manage behaviour within the classroom

You would be joining a brilliant school, who are passionate about providing the best quality education to their students, as such they have obtained an “outstanding” rating by OFSTED framework. The school are wanting someone who will contribute to the high standards that the school provide and as such will want a teaching assistant who can hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be adaptable and able to resolve issues throughout the day
  • Have a solid understanding of the curriculum
  • Provide good behaviour management
  • Maintain excellent numeracy/literacy skills
  • Hold relevant experience in a KS1 setting
