Job summary

Bishop Young C of E Academy in Leeds is recruiting for a part-time maternity cover role (fixed term, term time only). The position is based on 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with actual salary £20,606–£21,963 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will support learning activities, work in classrooms or 1:1 and small groups, and help foster a caring, Christian ethos within our Trust that includes eight academies in the Leeds area.

• Ability to work effectively in a team to support pupils.
• Strong communication with children, families and colleagues.

• Nature of Contract: Fixed term materity cover, term time only, 38 weeks per year plus 5 days (39 weeks)
• FTE Salary: GRADE B3, SCP 7 - 11, £27,274 to £29,071 per annum, pro rata
• Actual Salary: £20,606 - £21,963, based on 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
• Working Hours: Part time, 32.5 per week
