Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Llanelli is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to support pupils during general cover. The role is fully flexible depending on candidate needs, starts immediately and may extend to a long-term contract.

The role requires QTS or equivalent and safeguarding training within the last year. Eligibility to work in the UK with two professional references is expected, with daily pay at GBP 89.76 and typical school hours from 8:30 am to 3 pm.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can provide you with this training free of charge).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during general cover sessions in class.
• Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and supervision during activities.

About the School

This position starts immediately and is a Supply role that may lead to a long term contract. The position is open to both New and experienced Teaching Assistants. Depending on performance the school may look at extending the contract.

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
