Job Title: Key Stage 1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (TA4)

Salary: , Grade F Points 17-23 £30,060 - £33,366 per annum pro-rata

Actual Salary: £24,349 - £27,026 per annum

Working Pattern: 9.30am 5.30pm (35 hours. Term Time plus 5 days)

Contract Permanent position for the right candidate.

Start Date: 1 September 2025

You must be able to:

• demonstrate you are an excellent practitioner with high expectations of children’s achievements and standards in all areas of school life
• demonstrate an understanding of the role, a minimum of 2 years recent experience as a school/nursery based TA or equivalent is essential
• use your skills and knowledge to plan, deliver and assess lessons through EYFS-KS1
• deliver the role with energy and enthusiasm
• relate well to children and build relationships
• help children to achieve their best
• actively engage children in their learning and play
• deliver phonics learning effectively
• liaise with parents and other professionals effectively
• work as a member of a team and take responsibility
• able to use your own initiative
• have strong behaviour management strategies linked with the school’s behaviour policy
