TEACHING ASSISTANT (Level 4) – 32.5 hours per week, term time only + 5 PL days
R&C NJC pts 17-18 (£23,015 to £23,396 actual salary – pay award pending)

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire area serving a population in excess of 1000 students with a broad range of learning difficulties.

Mo Mowlam Academy joined the Trust in April 2019 and caters for pupils aged 5 to 16 years who have SEMHD as their identified primary need. The Academy has relocated to a purpose built new school.

We are seeking an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic L4 teaching assistant to join our Primary Moonstone Provision at Mo Mowlam Academy. The right candidate will need to be inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves. .

Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD would be desirable but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements for this post.
