Job summary

St Christophers School in Wales is seeking a Level 4 Teaching Assistant to support and deliver learning activities under supervision. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering activities for individuals or small groups and monitoring pupil progress.

The successful candidate will help develop a specialist area within the school and may supervise other teaching assistants, including allocating work, supporting appraisal and training.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS and EWC registration are required.
• Ability to work bilingual in English and Welsh is welcomed.
• Experience supporting learning activities and pupils is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver learning activities for individuals or groups under supervision.
• Assist with monitoring pupil progress, recording outcomes and reporting.
• Contribute to managing a specialist area and supervising other teaching assistants.
