An educational trust in Tees Valley is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Level 4 Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will support students with SEMHD, demonstrate strong communication skills, and inspire high expectations in the classroom. 32.5 Hours per week, term time only + 5 PL days.
Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire areas, serving a population in excess of 1000 students aged 5 to 19 with a broad range of learning difficulties.
Hollis Academy is situated in Middlesbrough and provides for pupils aged 11 to 16 years who have SEMHD as their identified primary need. Hollis Academy joined the Trust in October 2016 as a sponsor academy. Since that time, rapid progress towards improvement has been realised due to the commitment of the staff and the Senior Leadership Team
We are seeking an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Hollis Academy. The right candidate will need to be inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves.
Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD is desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.
