Job summary

Old Moat is seeking a committed individual for the part-time role of assistant teacher within a new SEND class, effective from September 2025 to July 2026. The position promises significant contributions to the development of students with special educational needs and requires an individual with a TA2 qualification, with a TA3 considered advantageous.

About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part Time, 33 hours per week
Number of positions: 1
Qualifications Required: TA2 Essential, TA3 Desirable
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: £22,839 - £24,378 per annum

We are looking to appoint an assistant teacher (Teaching Assistant Level 3 SEN) to work in our new SEND class from September 2025 - July 2026.

The position is permanent as there is likely to be a need for higher level SEND support at the school after this academic year.
