Overview

We are seeking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a permanent contract to join our team based at our Craig Hall (Irlam) site.

Responsibilities

• Support primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential and ensure all pupils are included and supported to develop irrespective of their special educational needs or behaviour challenges.
• Work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils.
• Learn new skills and participate in your own professional development.
• Develop your skills and expertise to lead groups of pupils and to specialise in a nominated area of communication.

Qualifications and experience

• Previous experience of working with young people of school age who may have challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting.
• Ready to develop your skills and expertise to lead groups of pupils and to specialise in a nominated area of communication.
