Justteachers Ltd. is seeking an experienced TA3 to join a specialist education setting in Newark on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will support pupils with SEN, deliver targeted interventions, and take on additional classroom responsibilities to help learners progress academically and socially.

The role requires a proactive, resilient individual with strong communication skills who can work collaboratively with staff and maintain high standards of pupil welfare.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a school setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (highly desirable).
  • TA3 qualification or equivalent level of experience.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured learning activities and targeted interventions under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and complex needs.
  • Support the planning and adaptation of learning materials to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support emotional regulation strategies.
  • Encourage the development of communication, social, and independence skills.
  • Assist with monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

About the role:

justteachers are seeking an experienced TA3 to join a specialist education setting in Newark on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for a confident and capable Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and is ready to take on additional responsibility within the classroom. Working closely with teaching staff, you will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupils with a wide range of needs, helping them to make meaningful progress both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:
