We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Literacy Support) to join our team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA).
This is a Grade 4, permanent full-time post working 35 hours per week, term time only. The starting salary is £21,441, with a full-time equivalent salary of £25,584.
Literacy support to pupils aged 11-16. You will demonstrate a commitment to professional standards, including policies on equality, diversity, and child protection. Empathy and tact are essential to build excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
This role involves providing additional literacy support to pupils, working collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupil wellbeing, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You will support access to learning, manage pupils and resources, and ensure compliance with strategic processes, including behavior management strategies.
