Job summary

South Failsworth Community Primary is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves supporting teaching and learning within a vibrant primary setting and working with individual pupils and small groups as required.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and GCSEs in Maths and English, plus a commitment to safeguarding and strong teamwork. Term-time plus one week, with a permanent or fixed-term contract depending on funding.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £29,542 - £32,046 (full time full year equivalent)

Actual Salary: £22,399 - £24,298 per annum (Grade 4)

Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only + 1 week.

Location: South Failsworth Primary School, Paddock Lane, Manchester, M35 0NY

Contract: 1x Permanent, 1x Fixed Term to August 2026 dependent on funding

Start Date: As soon as possible
