Teaching Assistant - Level 2 – Wrap Around Provision, 15 hpw (Term Time only)

(Sea View Primary School)

£25,183 pa pro rata (£13.05 ph)

One Year Fixed Term Contract (in the first instance)

Required from September 2025

Working Pattern: 3pm – 6pm

The Governors of Sea View Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and positive teaching assistant.

You will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the Teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. The work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area, which could include group work or on a 1-2-1 basis.

You will assist the Teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Staff may also supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of Teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.
