The Role

The Governing Board of High Lawn Primary and Nursery School are looking to employ enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and popular school. The successful candidates will have a positive attitude to all aspects of school life and be able to work as part of a team. They will have the ability to maintain our high standards and have a firm belief in the potential of all children.

The posts are to support children who have an Education, Health and Care Plan on a one to one basis in year groups across the school.

We are looking for individuals who:

• have experience of being a Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Assistant in a primary school;
• have an excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum;
• have experience of supporting children who have an Education Health and Care Plan;
• have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• are exemplary Teaching Assistants/SNAs;
• have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour;

• are committed to working in close partnership with parents, Governors and the wider community.
