Don Valley Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in November 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The role involves supporting teaching staff to enable access to learning for pupils and assisting with classroom management in and around lessons.

You will work under the instruction of teaching staff, in classrooms across the day, contributing to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
• Carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
