Actual Salary: £17,484 To £18,932 + SEN Allowance
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity as we look for someone to join us at this incredibly exciting time in the school’s history. The governors of this highly successful 11-16 Voluntary Aided RC High School are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with children, who have recognized educational and pastoral needs, under the direction/supervision of teaching staff. Whilst previous experience is desirable, excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and resilience are just as important. This role would suit candidates with skills such as graduates possibly looking for a career in teaching, customer facing industries, including retail, hospitability and leisure looking for a new role that makes a real difference to children’s lives. Educated to GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths you will be calm, engaging, and resilient, enjoy working as part of a team, and be genuinely motivated by helping every child to reach their potential
