Job summary

Holmer Lake Primary in Telford is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a temporary post until July 2027. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only, working on NJC Scale 2 (£13.45 per hour).

You will work under the supervision of teaching staff to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis, help implement learning/support programmes, and assist with classroom management to enable access to learning for pupils. An enhanced DBS check is required prior to starting.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our dedicated team here at Holmer Lake Primary.

As a member of the support staff team, you will play a key part in meeting the current and future needs of our pupils

.To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

This role will predominantly be supporting a pupil on a one-to-one basis.

We are fully committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils. The successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing this position.
