Job summary

John Whitgift Academy is seeking two Teaching Assistants Level 2 to join the academy on a part-time, permanent basis as soon as possible.

You will work under the guidance of teaching staff to support learning for pupils and assist the teacher in managing the classroom, with duties potentially in or outside the main teaching area. CPD opportunities and employee benefits are highlighted within the academy framework.

• Experience assisting teachers and supporting pupils.

Responsibilities

• Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
• May carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
