Job summary

Park View School in South Tyneside is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 2 for a 37hpw term-time only post. The role is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with potential for permanence at the end of the period.

Salary is £29,542 per annum pro rata, with a requirement for a driving licence and DBS disclosure. The successful candidate will work to support pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs, promoting inclusion and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence is essential as part of travel between sites.

The ideal candidates will have an awareness of and be sensitive to the challenges facing children withSEMH behaviours and to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils. Primary experience would be desirable.

You will be able to demonstrate in your application that you have the ability to have a positive impact on the lives of young people at PVS.
