Job Description:

St John’s Mosley Common CE Primary School in Worsley is seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEND in Lower KS1. This temporary position is for 32.5 hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year), starting September 2025, and is contingent upon safeguarding checks.

The role involves supporting children with difficulties in communication, interaction, social and emotional wellbeing, delivering speech and language programs, English and Maths interventions, and promoting inclusive access to the curriculum. Applicants should have experience in these areas, excellent behaviour management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A supportive school environment and a caring, inclusive ethos are offered.
