We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within our team to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan who is currently in reception.

The successful candidate will have the skills to work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure that the child is accessing the curriculum and making positive progress with their emotional development and their academic learning. Ideally, you will have some previous experience of working with children with SEND, but most importantly we are looking for someone who is calm, caring and consistent in their approach, who is committed to maintaining our high standards and wants to make a difference, and who is willing to 'go that extra mile’ to better the life chances of our children. The role also involves supervising children for 30 minutes every day over the lunchtime period.
