Evergreen School is a special school with two purpose-built campuses in Warwick. We have over 280 children and young people aged 4 to 19 enrolled. This is an exciting time to join our school as we develop and expand, with new curriculum and facilities including a swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sensory studios, café, and soft-play rooms.

We are seeking a teaching assistant for our Brittain Lane campus, supporting pupils with complex, medical, and cognitive needs, primarily secondary age students. The support required includes high levels of personal and medical care, provided by our onsite Nursing team.

Experience in SEN or mainstream settings is desirable, but we also value candidates with relevant skills and a personal drive to support pupils with PMLD. We offer training to develop necessary skills.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure (with child and adult’s barred list check), prohibition from teaching check, and references and online checks at shortlisting.

We offer the successful candidate:

  • A community that values Community, Kindness, Honesty, and Trust
  • Support from a passionate leadership team
  • Access to free healthcare and occupational health
  • Staff discounts and Cycle to Work scheme
  • Family-friendly policies and flexible working arrangements

If you believe you have the qualities, experience, and resilience to support our vision, please complete the online application form linked below, referring to the person specification.
