Job summary

Wickersley Partnership Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our classroom team. You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, prepare resources, and help maintain a safe and organised learning environment.

You will work with students individually, in small groups, or with the whole class, supporting learning activities and monitoring progress. The role blends academic support with pastoral care to help every pupil reach their goals.

Job description

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will be a vital part of the classroom team. Your role is to support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that resources are ready and the environment is safe and organised. You will work directly with students-sometimes with the whole class, but often in small groups or one-to-one to help them understand learning activities and reach their goals. From marking routine tests to supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), this is a varied role that blends academic support with pastoral care.
