Deltatrust is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 for Carlton le Willows Academy, to join on a part-time, temporary basis starting July 2025. Salary Grade D Points 6 to 8 (£25,183 to £25,183 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £17,640.27

Carlton le Willows are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in July 2025 on a part time, temporary basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

Results

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area. In summer 2024, 80% of students achieved a Grade 5 or above in English, with 63% of students achieving Grade 5 or above in Maths. With an overall Progress score of +0.51 and 60% of students achieving Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths we are placed well above similar schools nationally.

A level students in our high performing sixth form also celebrated strong results with 90% of the cohort securing a place at their first choice university, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
