Job summary

Craven Primary Academy are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants Level 2 to join our academy as soon as possible, on a permanent, part time basis.

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

Qualifications

• Assist in classroom tasks and provide support to pupils to enable access to learning.
• Support the teacher with maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to small group or 1:1 interventions as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning under supervision of teaching staff.
• Assist in managing the classroom and pupil behaviour as directed.
