Job summary

The Arthur Terry School in Four Oaks is seeking a caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our students to achieve their full potential. You will work with teaching staff in the classroom, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging environment where every pupil can thrive.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children/young people in an educational setting.

• Committed to inclusion and helping every student reach potential.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help students develop confidence, independence and learning skills.
• Support students with diverse learning needs, adapting approaches as required.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation in learning.
• Assist with preparing classroom resources and maintaining a safe, organised learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to monitor progress and wellbeing.

Job description

The Arthur Terry School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our students to achieve their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys helping young people develop their confidence, independence and love of learning. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support learning in the classroom, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging environment where every student can thrive.

Part-time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
2. Work with individuals and small groups of students to reinforce learning and provide additional support.

4. Support students with a range of learning needs, adapting approaches where appropriate.

7. Work collaboratively with teachers and other colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
