Job summary

The Radclyffe School seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils and work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted interventions. This part-time role (32 hours 30 mins per week, term time plus 5 days) focuses on pupils with SEND and progress monitoring.

The post requires commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. Based at Radclyffe School, you will contribute to accurate record keeping, assist with marking, and support the Graduated Approach where appropriate.

Grade 3 , SCP 6-11 (£20,382 - £22,070) Pro rata of £26,847 rising to £29,071

The Radclyffe School is seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in achieving their full potential. You will work closely with class teachers to support learning, track progress, and deliver targeted interventions, particularly for pupils with SEND.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Support planned learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
  • Assist with monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress
  • Provide feedback on learning, behaviour, and engagement
  • Deliver and support targeted SEND interventions
  • Support the use of Provision Maps, Pupil Passports, APDR documents, and EHCP guidance
  • Contribute to accurate record keeping and progress tracking
  • Assist with marking and use of the Graduated Approach where appropriate
