A leading educational organization is seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant for Ysgol Henry Richard. The role involves supporting pupils with additional learning needs through direct supervision in a classroom environment. About the role
Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.
Applications are invited from an enthusiastic and committed person to join a very successful team in the learning support department by September 1st, 2025. The individual will be required to support pupils with additional learning needs.
The successful candidate will be expected to work under the direct supervision of teaching staff/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher; support access to learning for pupils and provide general support for the teacher with pupil and classroom management.
Previous experience of working with children with additional learning needs will be desirable, and the ability to communicate in Welsh is essential.
