Prospere Learning Trust is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN for Pear Tree High School, dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with various learning needs. We currently have exciting opportunities for Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School.
This is a Grade 3, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £20,990 and the full time equivalent is £24,404. This role is expected to start in September 2025.
Someone who understands the role of a Teaching Assistant, collaborates effectively with classroom professionals, and has basic knowledge of child development and learning. The right candidate will be committed to professional standards, continuously striving to maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills. A focus on teamwork and driving continuous improvement to support student success is required.
Be part of a team providing exceptional education for students. You will require tact and diplomacy to build excellent interpersonal relationships with all stakeholders including colleagues across the school and trust, parents, and external agencies. Experience of working with children and/or young people with communication, severe, profound, or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable.
Be a part of a team providing exceptional education for students so that they become happy, confident adults. You will support teaching and learning across the school, providing general support in the management of pupils and resources, working under the supervision of the class teacher, department lead, and senior leadership team.
